When I was five we were all swimming at the swimming hole and I was kicked in the head and went to the bottom of the river. I was seeing all of the stones as if they were jewels and everything began to become peaceful and a type of music without sound played that enveloped me totally - through every cell just as mentioned by Pam.

I was within and outside of a film that was showing me every minute and second that I had experienced until that time. I was not experiencing vertigo, but the speed of the film was lightning fast.

I was frightened and at peace until my father dragged me out of the water. I began to become frightened and agitated and very very angry that I was pulled out of the water. I was in a very in between two places for several hours. It changed my view of reality.
