HOUSTON, TX -- (Near-Death Newsletter)

Natia Rodonaia-Peleaez, the daughter of Rev. George Rodonaia, has informed me that George passed away on October 12, 2004 due to heart failure. He suffered a massive heart attack in July and it was thought that he had recovered. George was on his way to fly to Dallas to tape an interview with Trinity Broadcasting about his NDE when he had a final heart attack and God called him Home. Natia would like to thank everyone who has shown an interest in him and his NDE testimony. He will be deeply missed. George is survived by his wife Nino, his daughter Natia, his son Greg, his son-in-law Martin, his grandson Levani, and his mother-in-law Nadia. George Rodonaia's NDE is one of the most profound on record. He was dead for three days but revived during his autopsy. His NDE involved one of the most interesting examples of verified perception while out of the body.

SEATTLE, WA -- (The Star)

Sha Nohr, a church member and mother of a friend of Hatch's, said she had dreams of a wooded area and heard the message "Keep going, keep going". On Sunday morning, Nohr and her daughter drove to the area where the crash occurred, praying along the way. "I just thought, 'Let her speak out to us'." Nohr told The Seattle Times. Something drew her to stop and clamber over a concrete barrier and more than 30m down a steep, densely vegetated embankment, where she barely managed to spot the wrecked car in some trees.

LONDON, UK -- (icWales)

She said, "What I found is incredible. One man, whose life signs completely went, said he floated above his body and saw everything. "He described our attempts to revive him in perfect detail, even talking about a doctor who came in while off-duty then left. "The patient's eyes were not even open when this happened and he was not only unconscious he was clinically dead.

BERLIN, GERMANY -- (AFP)

Cult German film maker Wim Wenders said that a near-fatal experience with drugs when he was a student completely changed his view of life and death ... "It really changes you, to go right up to that barrier or one step over it," he said, describing the experience as wonderful. "Everything became unbelievably bright and white. Light. The fear went away and it was wonderful," Wenders said.

SAN DIEGO, CA -- (TheSanDiegoChannel.com)

Ledwig said he had an out-of-body experience. "The first thing I remember -- the only thing I remember after keeling over in the surf -- is waking up, floating on the ceiling of the rescue helicopter and looking down on myself. It was totally quiet," Ledwig said. Ledwig is now healthy and has a new appreciation for his life and the people who saved it. "I'm happy to be alive again," he told Sacht and Bucher.

CAMP VERDE, AZ -- (PRWEB)

"Even in the bitter cold that reached 60 below and more, I was drawn to deep meditation. I would be gone' for hours, even days at a time. When I came back to body awareness on a few occasions, my body would not respond and it smelled of decomposition; I had to willfully cram my awareness back into it. It was during this period that I experienced the multitude of realms and states of being that most people would call death. I perceived an afterlife' that was full of not only my Christian expectations, but my Buddhist and Hindu belief structures as well.

(3) What's New at near-death.com

The following are the latest additions to near-death.com website:
    The NDE and Mental Telepathy

Several years ago, I evaluated 50 NDEs on my website and found that 65% of them contained a reference to mental telepathy. In the physical world, you can say something while thinking something entirely different. This is not possible in the realm where thoughts are deeds and where we truly are what we think. Communication in the NDE realm is by telepathy and travel is by thought. It is virtually impossible in the NDE realm to communicate anything but what you really think. This explains why so many NDErs report that there are no secrets there. You cannot hide who you really are inside. This is why St. Teresa of Avila once said, "After you die, you wear what you are." Examples of mental telepathy during NDEs are presented on this page. This page is not yet finished and will be an on-going project of mine until I cover all examples on my website.

    The NDE and Homecoming

Several years ago, I evaluated 50 NDEs on my website and found that 21% of them described their NDE in terms of a "homecoming." The concept of death as a "homecoming" appears frequently in NDE reports and in other phenomenon such as deathbed visions and after-death communications. In this sense, death is very much like birth whereas people go through a tunnel connected to an umbilical (silver cord in the case of death) which becomes severed and then where we are received by loved ones. Death is frequently described as "going home" to our true origins. This web page will present the many examples of the homecoming motif which appears in NDEs.

The NDE and Told Not Ready

One of the most remarkable aspects of NDEs is the large percentage of people who are told "You are not ready" or "It is not time for you to die" or some variation of this. When I evaluated 50 of the NDEs on my website, I found that 46% of them involved the experiencer being told this. This is remarkable because if the NDE was merely "mental flatulence" produced by the brain as so many skeptics claim, how do they explain using brain chemicals only how so many experiencers are told the same thing? Suppose 46% of all experiencers are told "Seize the day" instead of "It's not your time." Would it be any more remarkable? I don't think so. What about if 46% of experiencers are told "Did you have fun?" Such a remark is just as cryptic as being told "It's not time." And it should be apparent that brain chemistry cannot explain it.

    The NDE and Guides

There is a wealth of information from many NDEs on my website concerning spirit guides and this web page will contain as much as possible on the subject. This page is not yet finished and will be an on-going project of mine until I cover all examples on my website.

    What's New page

(5) Coming Attractions

The following articles are coming soon in the next newsletter and/or following editions:
    Q and A with P.M.H. Atwater, L.H.D., Ph.D. (Hon.)

PMH Atwater will answer questions submitted to her from subscribers to this newsletter. Her latest books are entitled We Live Forever: The Real Truth About Death and The New Children and Near-Death Experiences. If you have a question which you would like her to answer for this column, just email your question to Kevin Williams at http://www.near-death.com/contact.html for consideration. For more information about P.M.H. Atwater's contribution to near-death studies, download her press kit here.

    P.M.H. Atwater's "I Died Three Times"

I recently experienced a remarkable synchronistic event recently when I was doing a regular MEGA-Search for NDE information on the internet. I was going through my search results and scanned through NDE testimony and read the ones I found interesting. I found one particular NDE testimony which was lengthy and very interesting. As I continued to read it, I realized that this was an outstanding testimony which was filled with remarkable insights. I come across such NDE testimonies once in a great while. I didn't know who the woman was that wrote what I was reading at that time, but she was describing her NDE in a remarkably eloquent and very personal and touching manner. It was so touching that I came very close to tears. It was so remarkable. I continued reading and wondered what this woman's name was. But I continued to read because I decided I would find out after I read all of it. Then toward the end of her testimony, I read the name "Phyllis". Phyllis is my beloved mother's name. But it is also the name of P.M.H. Atwater. So, when I saw the name I immediately realized that this was probably P.H.H. Atwater's NDE. What was so surprising to me was that I thought I had read her NDE testimony! If I did, it was so long ago that I had forgotten about it. All I knew is that I thought I knew all about P.M.H's NDEs but I obviously must have read only a summary of it. Anyway, I had just read perhaps the best NDE testimony I have ever read and it was P.M.H.'s! All these years I have been seeking such NDEs to profile on my website and Atwater's testimony should have been on my website many years ago. I am not sure what it all means; but I plan to create a wonderful series of web pages for people to read her outstanding testimony.
