Astrology and the Near-Death
Experience
By
Kevin Williams |
 |
Astrology
is a system of thought concerning
the connections between external
reality and internal reality. A
famous saying among the ancients
who studied the stars is: As above,
so below. They believed the study of
the stars is a study of the inner
workings of the human mind. Astrology
literally means the science of the
stars. The notion of the zodiac
is very ancient, with roots in the
early cited cultures of Mesopotamia
around 2900 B.C.
The following
are insights concerning astrology
from near-death experiencers profiled
on this website.

1. Carl
Jung's NDE and astrology connection |
|
Carl Jung,
the world-renowned psychologist who had
a near-death experience, believed that when
people are born, or when anything happens,
the influence of the planets are exerted
on them. As such, Jung believed astrology
is a symbolic system that works through
synchronicity, a term coined by Jung. Synchronicity
is the belief that everything in the universe
is interrelated and that what occurs can
be understood as a pattern of meaningful
coincidences. Jung's near-death experience
was a major influence on his life and work.
|
|
a. |
In
1944, Jung had a heart attack,
which resulted in a near-death
experience. His vivid encounter
with the light, plus the intensely
meaningful insights he received,
helped Jung develop his
ideas on the archetypes of the
collective unconscious and how
it relates to concepts found
in astrology. Jung's experiences
and knowledge led him to create
the field of
analytical
psychology.
|
b. |
Jung
did an analysis of astrology
to determine its place in synchronicity.
He studied 483 married couples
and noted the
astrological
connections between the birth
dates of married couples.
These findings concluded that
long lasting relationships had
a certain astrological pattern
which were found to be three
times higher than the rate of
coincidence. Also astounding
was the fact that the couples
whom astrologers would interpret
as being the most conducive
to marriage were the couples
whose astrological pattern occurred
most frequently. The pattern
that astrologers interpret as
least conducive to marriage
occurred least often among the
couples. Jung calculated the
odds of the this result occurring
randomly is 1 in 62,500,000.
Jung believed incidents like
these are the result of synchronicity.

Jung)

2. The
science of astrology |
|
A recent episode of the television program,
Unsolved Mysteries,
profiled a segment concerning an experiment
in astrology. The producers of the show
had twenty astrological birth charts from
people at random. Included with the twenty
astrological charts, the producers put the
astrological charts of four serial killers:
Jeffrey Dahmer, David Son of Sam Berkowitz,
David the Night Stalker Ramirez, and Ed
Kemper. These astrological charts were given
to
Carolyn Reynolds,
a well-known astrologer, to see if she can
glean any information from them. Without
knowing the identity of the people whose
charts she was analyzing, Carolyn Reynolds
successfully identified the four people
as possible serial killers. She was also
able to give other specific information
about these serial killers that proved correct.
She was able to do all this just by analyzing
their astrological birth chart.
A similar experiment
was done by other people with a different
set of people and a different group of serial
killers. The astrologer who evaluated their
birth charts without knowing who they were,
was
Edna Rowland, another
professional astrologer. They came up with
similar results and published their findings
in a book entitled,
Destined for Murder:
Profiles of Six Serial Killers With Astrological
Commentary.
More scientific evidence suggestive of astrology
is available on this website.

3. The
twelve signs of the NDE zodiac |
|
There is an astrological
connection between the Beings of Light,
the near-death experiencer, and the near-death
experience itself. This astrological connection
can best be seen in those NDEs where the
experiencer appears before the Being of
Light and a group of other light beings.
Experiencers have referred to this group
by different names: a
Council of Elders, a council of men,
or council, or Elders, or something similar
to these. This council usually consists
of twelve Beings of Light who are representatives
of the twelve signs of the zodiac. This
astrological connection becomes apparent
when an experiencer undergoes a life review
or special encounter with others usually
for the purpose of learning about their
destiny or a prophecy.

Dannion Brinkley and the twelve beings of
light |
|
 |
Dannion was led to a heavenly
cathedral by a Being of
Light. There he met twelve
more Beings of Light whom
represented the zodiac:
|
|
"I
was able to
count the beings
as they stood
behind the podium.
There were thirteen
of them, standing
shoulder to
shoulder and
stretched across
the stage. I
was aware of
other things
about them,
too, probably through
some form of
telepathy. Each
one of them
represented
a different
emotional and
psychological
characteristic
that all humans
have. For example,
one of these
beings was intense
and passionate,
while another
was artistic
and emotional.
One was bold
and energetic,
yet another
possessive and
loyal. In human
terms, it was
as though each
one represented
a different
sign of the
zodiac. In spiritual
terms, these
beings went
far beyond the
signs of the
zodiac. They
emanated these
emotions in
such a way that
I could feel
them." (Dannion
Brinkley)

Betty Eadie and the council of twelve elders |
|
Jesus led Betty before a Council of men
who decided to reveal to Betty her mission
in order to convince her to return to
earth:
|
|
"I
was led to a room, which was exquisitely
built and appointed. I entered and
saw a group of men seated around
the long side of a kidney-shaped
table. I was led to stand in front
of them within the indented portion
of the table. One thing struck me
almost immediately; there were twelve
men here - men - but no women. The
men radiated love for me, and I
felt instantly at peace with them.
They leaned together to consult
with each other. Then one of them
spoke to me. He said that I had
died prematurely and must return
to earth. I felt them saying it
was important that I return to
earth,
that I had a mission to fulfill,
but I resisted it in my heart. This
was my home, and I felt that nothing
they could say would ever convince
me to leave it. The men conferred
again and asked me if I wanted to
review my life ... I felt the love
of the council come over me." (Betty
Eadie)

Edgar Cayce and the twelve apostles of the
zodiac |
|
The following information reinforces the
connection between the twelve signs of the
zodiac, the twelve apostles of Jesus, and
the twelve Elders of the Council.
|
|
I.
|
Edgar
Cayce
revealed through his near-death
journeys that the twelve apostles
of Christ were representatives
of the twelve signs of the zodiac.
He said the stars represent
soul patterns, not experiences.
The twelve signs of the zodiac
are twelve patterns from which
the soul chooses when coming
into the earth realm. They are
like races - patterns of temperament,
personality, etc. The star signs
of the zodiac, for instance,
influence people in subtle ways:
by making some people bull-headed,
or some people emotional, or
some people timid, or some people
introspective, based on the
zodiac pattern chosen. [Reference
2823-1]
|
II.
|
Jesus stated that
the twelve apostles
would someday judge
people in a heavenly
tribunal (a Council?):
|
"Jesus said
to them
[the twelve],
"Truly I
tell you,
at the renewal
of all things,
when the
Son of Man
sits on
his glorious
throne,
you who
have followed
me will
also sit
on twelve
thrones,
judging
the twelve
tribes of
Israel."
(Matthew
19:28)
|
|
|
III.
|
Early
Christians believed Jesus was
the perfection of all the twelve
heavenly constellations. He
ruled over twelve disciples
on earth and he rules over the
twelve signs of the zodiac in
the heavens. The early Church
leader
Clement
of Alexandria
(150-215 A.D.), in Excerpta
ex Theodota, had no hesitation
in equating the twelve disciples
with the twelve signs of the
zodiac, with Christ as the central
sun ... By such reasoning, the
body of Christ, through the
numinous power of the zodiac,
merges with the body of man,
to become a single united symbol
within the church."

Lynnclaire Dennis and the circle of twelve
elders |
|
 |
During
Lynnclaire
Dennis' NDE,
she entered into the Light of the
Universal Life Source - God. In
the light, she saw what she understood
to be the "Pattern"
of all life and was told that she
was assigned to communicate to the
world the message behind the Pattern.
After her NDE, she would have recurring
dreams of the Pattern and would
be able to bring more subconscious
memories of it into her consciousness.
The pattern eventually caught the
eye of quantum physicists because
of its compatibility with the
knotted
pattern of 10-dimensional space
in Superstring physics and its possible
solution to the so-called
Theory
of Everything
- the holy grail of all physics.
The Pattern consists of twelve pieces
surrounded by an unbroken line creating
seven bridges within it. The mathematical
name for it is a
Fourier
Trefoil knot.
The following is the interesting
connection between this twelve-piece
Pattern and the Council of twelve
elders:
|
|
Along
with having recurring dreams of
the Pattern, Lynnclaire also has
recurring dreams of a "circle
of twelve elders," one of whom
is Asian and currently living in
the flesh. In 1996, she visited
China at the invitation of a scientist
named
Steve
Bryson
and within hours of arriving there,
she was introduced to a man whom
she recognized as the Asian elder.
She is currently working with the
Gorbachev
Foundation
and has found doors opening to diplomatic
circles in many countries. She views
the metaphysical meaning behind
the Pattern as a potential tool
for negotiation. World-renowned
University of Illinois mathematician
Dr. Louis
Kauffman
had this to say about the unifying
principle behind the Pattern:
"The fact that you can
see many different forms
in it as you turn it
around makes it very
beautiful for teaching
purposes. You can say
to people, 'Here is
something that if you
look at it one way shows
you the Star of David,
and if you turn it another
way shows you the Yin-Yang,
and if you turn it again
you see the crescents
sacred to Islam, the
symbol for infinity,
and the conventional
image of an atom. And
they're really all the
same thing.' Mathematics
is slowly teasing out
those kinds of patternings
by stepping carefully
and slowly through various
structures that give
rise to puzzles. Those
puzzles become centers
of attention for people,
and from them we begin
to understand how everything
is knitted together
in the universe." (Dr.
Louis Kauffman)
|
 |
Perhaps
the Council of Elders from the NDE
dimension are doing more than just
trying to give us the mathematical
solution to the
Grand Unified Theory to the
Theory of Everything. Perhaps
they are also trying to give us
the religious, cultural, political
and metaphysical proof that we are
indeed connected, one, and the same.

Williams)

Sylvia Browne and the council of elders |
|
Through her near-death experience and subsequent
psychic abilities, Sylvia learned that upon
death, most people go through a heavenly
process before entering into heaven. Part
of that process is going before a Council
of Elders:
|
|
"Another
beautiful structure is the Hall
of Justice where people go before
a Council of Elders who are
highly advanced spokespersons
of God who help us decide how
we are to progress further into
the spirit realm. At some point,
people recognize the need for
even further advancement and
therefore choose to return to
earth to gain this spiritual
advancement. With the help of
a spirit guide, they decide
on an incarnation which will
meet their goals. They then
proceed to the Hall of Justice
where they meet once again with
the Council of Elders. Here,
the Council prepares people
for their next incarnation.
When they are ready to incarnate,
their family and friends are
gathered together to bid farewell."

Browne)

Dr. Michael Newton and the council of elders |
|
Dr. Newton's important research into hypnotic
regression into past life memories led him
to the discovery of memories of experiences
in out-of-body dimensions between earth
lives. After a multitude of regressions,
Newton realized that a process exists after
death where people appear before a Council
of Elders:
|
|
"After
souls arrive back into their
soul groups, they are summoned
to appear before a Council of
Elders. While the Council is
not prosecutorial, they do engage
in direct examination of a soul's
activities before returning
them to their groups. Upon returning
to earth, one of the last requirements
before embarkation for many
souls is to go before the Council
of Elders for the second time.
The spirit world is an environment
personified by order and the
Elders want to reinforce the
significance of a soul's goals
for the next life. Some return
to their spirit group after
this meeting to say goodbye
while others say they leave
immediately for reincarnation.
Those souls getting ready for
embarkation to earth are like
battle-hardened veterans girding
themselves for combat. This
is the last chance for souls
to enjoy the omniscience of
knowing just who they are before
they must adapt to a new body."

Michael Newton)

Brian Krebs and the twelve beings of knowledge |
|
During Brian's NDE, he was given information
about the past, the present and the future
from twelve otherworldly Beings of Light
who have similarities to the Elders found
in Betty's UFO NDE and Dannion Brinkley's
Beings who represented different signs of
the zodiac:
|
|
"I
then went to twelve beings of
greater knowledge. They were
in front of me and stood in
a row. They were not human.
They had no feelings of anything
like judgment or authority,
but seemed strong in themselves.
They seemed taller than me and
they wore silver white robes.
They had white skin, large heads
and large eyes. I do not remember
them having mouths. Above them
was a spirit. It was like a
star as we see one from
earth,
but in size it appeared the
same size as the heads of the
beings. The spirit went to my
left and hovered above the first
being. I remember it was like
a video of knowledge that sprung
from the beings' hands, which
were held in front of them.
Each being had something to
relate. They opened the knowledge
they had when the spirit moved
above them. The last told me
what I could do if I came back
and the significance of it.
I only remember seeing a young
man with his head held back
in pain as if his neck was injured.
I said, 'Oh! Aaron! My son!'
They said, 'No, not that son.'
And I realized who they meant.
(In 1978, my only other child
was born, a son)." (Brian
Krebs)

John the Revelator's journey to heaven before
the throne of elders |
|
In the Book of Revelation in the Bible,
John is taken into heaven before Jesus and
twenty-four Elders on thrones. Twelve of
the Elders certainly must represent the
twelve apostles as has already been established.
The identity of the other twelve Elders
could be the twelve Angels mentioned in
the Book of Revelation. Both references
are as follows:
|
|
"After
this I looked, and there before
me was a door standing open
in heaven. And the voice I had
first heard speaking to me like
a trumpet said, 'Come up here,
and I will show you what must
take place after this.' At once
I was in the Spirit, and there
before me was a throne in heaven
with someone sitting on it.
And the one who sat there had
the appearance of jasper and
carnelian. A rainbow, resembling
an emerald, encircled the throne.
Surrounding the throne were
twenty-four other thrones, and
seated on them were twenty-four
Elders. They were dressed in
white and had crowns of gold
on their heads. From the throne
came flashes of lightning, rumblings
and peals of thunder. Before
the throne, seven lamps were
blazing. These are the seven
spirits of God. Also before
the throne there was what looked
like a sea of glass, clear as
crystal." (Revelation
4:1-6)
|
|
|
During John's experience
in heaven, he is shown a vision of the future
when the heavenly city comes to earth. In
his description of this city, notice the
connection between the twelve apostles and
the twelve angels.
|
|
"It had a great, high wall with
twelve gates, and with twelve
angels at the gates. On the
gates were written the names
of the twelve tribes of Israel
... The wall of the city had
twelve foundations, and on them
were the names of the twelve
apostles of the Lamb." (Revelation
21:12-14)

Black Elk's council of six grandfathers
and six implied fathers |
|
During Black Elk's NDE, he went before a
council of six old grandfathers whom he
described as "older than men can ever be
- old like hills, old like stars."Because
these six beings represent grandfathers,
it might be implied that there are also
six fathers that go with these six grandfathers
but are not mentioned. Nevertheless, Black
Elk's NDE encounter with a council of men
who are representatives of archetypal powers:
|
|
"The
oldest grandfather welcomed
the boy and said, 'Your grandfathers
all over the world are having
a council, and they have called
you here to teach you.' His
voice was very kind, but the
boy shook all over with fear
now, for he knew that these
were not old men, but the Powers
of the World. Each grandfather
gave Black Elk a power. The
first grandfather gave him the
power to heal. The second grandfather
then gave the boy the power
of cleansing. The third grandfather
gave the boy the power of awakening
and its peace. From the fourth
grandfather the boy was given
the power of growth. The fifth
grandfather, the Spirit of the
Sky, gave the power of transcendent
vision. The sixth grandfather,
a very old man, incredibly grew
backwards into youth until he
became the boy, Black Elk. Growing
older again he said, 'My boy,
have courage, for my power shall
be yours, and you shall need
it, for your nation on the
earth
will have great troubles.' Then
the boy hears a great Voice
say, 'Behold the circle of the
nation's hoop, for it is holy,
being endless, and thus all
powers shall be one power in
the people without end.' Then
Black Elk, standing on the highest
mountain, surveying the grand
vista of the hoop of the world,
said, 'I saw more than I can
tell and I understood more than
I saw; for I was seeing in a
sacred manner the shapes of
all things in the spirit, and
the shape of all shapes as they
must live together like one
being.'" (Black
Elk)

4. The
afterlife realms as planetary dimensions |

afterlife realms. The following are some

David Oakford's NDE of planetary afterlife
realms |
|
"We
traveled past all of the planets
in our solar system. Near each
planet I could hear the energy
just like on earth. I saw the
auras around each one of them
too. I saw spirits on all of
them as well. My friend told
me that all planets are
places for spirits to live,
learn and thus evolve. I saw
great cities on each and every
one of those planets ... The
being told me that each planet
has a theme for learning and
that any of them can be chosen
by a soul when we are between
physical lives. He said we practice
on the other planets to be ready
to live on earth. He said
earth
is the ultimate experience for
a soul. It is ultimate because
our souls evolve faster here
than anywhere else. It was said
that the lessons we need to
learn are difficult to learn
without having a physical form."

Oakford)

b. Edgar
Cayce's NDEs of planetary afterlife realms |
|
Reality
is multi-dimensional. We are
multi-dimensional beings who
exist simultaneously in a multi-dimensional
reality. Long ago, our bodies
evolved from primates. Even
longer ago, our minds evolved
from the stars. But before the
universe began, our spirits
existed forever as part of the
divine in higher dimensions.
At the conscious (physical)
level, our bodies are like a
miniature replica of the solar
system. Our hearts perform the
function of the sun - the center
of the system. Other organs
within our body are also used
by our souls to find a means
of expression. The planets exert
astrological vibrations upon
our bodies that influence our
personalities and soul patterns.
At the subconscious (soul) level,
the solar system is our larger
body. We are connected to the
planets, the stars, spiritual
realms and entities. On the
superconscious (spirit) level,
we are one with the Whole. At
this level, we are on a conscious
level with all there is - the
divine.
Solar systems were created for
our souls to have cycles of
life experiences for the purpose
of spiritual advancement. The
universe can be thought of as
a gigantic university and each
solar system as a college. Each
planet is like a particular
classroom - a realm - where
souls can learn lessons related
to that particular realm. The
universe is the third dimension
in the hierarchy and represents
three-dimensional life. Other
dimensions in the afterlife
hierarchy represent other-dimensional
life. Each planet in our solar
system is a representation of
a different dimension in the
hierarchy. The planet earth
represents three-dimensional
life. The planet Mercury represents
the second dimension. The planet
Venus represents the fourth
dimension. Cayce referred to
the various afterlife dimensions
by using the name of the planet
associated with it. For example,
when Cayce referred to souls
sojourning through Venus, he
was referring to souls experiencing
the afterlife dimension associated
astrologically with the planet
Venus. He did not mean that
people were actually living
on the planet Venus.
The planets exert an astrological
influence on us the moment we
enter this world. These astrological
planetary influences originate
from the corresponding afterlife
dimensions our souls have sojourned
through before our current
earth
experience and in between
earth
lives. The purpose of these
astrological influences is to
provide particular life lessons
that we need to learn and for
which we are tested on
earth.
As an example, Cayce described
his sister Lila's sojourns through
the afterlife dimensions. Her
soul sojourned in the dimension
associated with the planet Jupiter
prior to incarnating into the
world. Jupiter's astrological
influence of high mindedness
and large groups is one of the
reasons she later became an
executive for the International
Red Cross. Large groups and
high ideals often come with
incarnations in the Jupiter
realm according to Cayce. She
also had a recent experience
in the dimension associated
with the planet Mercury. Mercury's
astrological influence is of
mind and communication. Cayce
mentioned that this experience
added to her mental ability.
Astrological influences such
as these are hidden within the
soul by soul experience - not
just because the stars are in
a certain position at the time
of our birth - but because the
soul actually had experiences
in these realms. These influences
are energies that the soul can
draw on during an experience
in the physical realm. These
afterlife realms can also be
experienced when we are not
active in our physical body.
These non-active states include
deep sleep, meditation, astral
projection, or other altered
states that free the subconsciousness
from its normal physical constraints.
We are truly citizens of the
cosmos even as we walk the
earth.
(Edgar
Cayce)

After death, each soul must rise as best
it can through a hierarchy of afterlife
realms and face the increasingly difficult
challenges (in the form of a password) posed
by the guardian angel of each realm.
Those liberated souls that have attained
gnosis (spiritual knowledge) are received
back into the bosom of God. Others must
reincarnate until they do. (Apostle
Paul, the Apocalypse of Paul)
During Mary Pollack's NDE, she was confronted
by two heavenly beings who asked her to
give them a password for which she could
continue further on in her experience. She
gave them the correct password and was amazed
because she had absolutely no idea how she
knew it. She asked the beings, "You
mean this is this all I had to say?"
They replied, "You had to learn it
for yourself. We couldn't have told you.
We couldn't have taught you. This is something
that had to come from you." (NDE
video documentary Round Trip)
A cosmic axis exists in the spirit world.
It is a matrix of rainbow light that holds
together eight spheres that revolve around
the earth. Each sphere is guided by destiny.
One of these spheres has a fate that casts
a number of earthly destinies from which
the soul can choose from. For example, a
soul can choose to reincarnate as a tyrant,
an animal, an artist, or, an ordinary citizen
who minds his own business. (Plato)

5. Consciousness
expansion through the stars |
|
Many near-death experiences involve a person's
consciousness expanding until it fills the
entire universe and beyond. This experience
has been described as literally becoming
the universe or becoming God by experiencers. This
characteristic found in NDEs corresponds
with the astrological concept of how we
are influenced by cosmic forces and otherworldly
experiences in past life dimensions. The
following are some NDE examples of this
astrological concept:

"Suddenly I seemed to be rocketing away
from the planet on this stream of life.
I saw the earth fly away. The solar system,
in all its splendor, whizzed by and disappeared.
At faster than light speed, I flew through
the center of the galaxy, absorbing
more knowledge as I went. I learned that
this galaxy, and all of the Universe, is
bursting with many different varieties of
LIFE. I saw many worlds. The good news is
that we are not alone in this Universe!
As I rode this stream of consciousness through
the center of the galaxy, the stream was
expanding in awesome fractal waves of energy.
The super clusters of galaxies with all
their ancient wisdom flew by. At first
I thought I was going somewhere; actually
traveling. But then I realized that, as
the stream was expanding, my own consciousness
was also expanding to take in everything
in the Universe!" (Mellen-Thomas
Benedict)
"The stars seemed to fly past me so rapidly
that they formed a tunnel around me. I began
to sense awareness, knowledge. The farther
forward I was propelled the more knowledge
I received. My mind felt like a sponge,
growing and expanding in size with each
addition. The knowledge came in single words
and in whole idea blocks. I just seemed
to be able to understand everything as it
was being soaked up or absorbed. I could
feel my mind expanding and absorbing and
each new piece of information somehow seemed
to belong. It was as if I had known already
but forgotten or mislaid it, as if it were
waiting here for me to pick it up on my
way by." (Virginia

"And in your life review you'll be the universe
and experience yourself in what you call
your lifetime and how it affects the universe."
(Thomas
Sawyer)
After hovering around New York, Susan Blackmore
floated back to her room in Oxford where
she became very small and entered her body's
toes. Then she grew very big, as big as
a planet at first, and then she filled the solar
system and finally she became as large as
the universe. (Susan
Blackmore)

"I am love; I am understanding; I
am compassion! My presence fills the room.
And now I feel my presence in every room
in the hospital. Even the tiniest space
in the hospital is filled with this presence
that is me. I sense myself beyond the hospital,
above the city, even encompassing earth.
I am melting into the universe. I am everywhere
at once." (Josiane
Antonette)
"You must be ready to accept the
possibility that there is a limitless range
of awareness for which we now have no words;
that awareness can expand beyond the range
of your ego, your self, your familiar identity,
beyond everything you have learned, beyond
your notions of space and time, beyond the
differences which usually separate people
from each other and from the world around
them." (Dr.
Timothy Leary)
"I was involved in this tremendous
pouring forth of gratitude and joy and as
that was going inside me, this white light
began to infiltrate my consciousness. It
came into me. It seemed I went out into
it. I expanded into it as it came into my
field of consciousness." (Jayne
Smith)
"I felt caught up in all of this to the
very depths of my being. I felt myself expanding
and expanding until I thought, 'I'm going
to burst!' The moment I thought, 'I'm going
to burst!,' I suddenly found myself alone,
back where this being had met me, and he
had gone." (Margaret
Tweddell)

6. NDE
astronomical interconnections |
|
One of the main
principles behind astrology is the notion
that all things are connected together,
specifically the connection of planetary
influences to the mind, body and soul. Some
experiencers have seen this astrological
connection in an astounding and explicit
manner. These NDEs reveal how everything
is connected to each other by a spiritual
matrix or net - a concept which agrees with
astrology. The following are some examples:
"I perceived how the earth, the sun, the
moon, the darkness, the light, the planets,
and all forms of life - plants, rocks, animals,
people - are interconnected; they come from
the same source of light. Everything is
united by a transparent net, or web, and
each thread shines with great radiance.
Everything pulses with the same luminosity
- a magnificent light of unparalleled brilliance."
(Josiane
Antonette)

"As I asked the light to keep explaining,
I understood what the Higher Self matrix
is. We have a grid around the planet where
all the Higher Selves are connected. This
is like a great company, a next subtle level
of energy around us, the spirit level,
you might say. As I rode the stream
on and on, I could eventually see a huge
light coming. I knew it was the First Light;
the Higher Self Light Matrix of our solar
system. Then the entire solar system appeared
in the light, accompanied by one of
those velvet booms. I saw that the solar
system we live in is our larger, local body.
This is our local body and we are much bigger
than we imagine. I saw that the solar system
is our body. I am a part of this, and the
earth is this great created being that
we are, and we are the part of it that knows
that it is. But we are only that part of
it. We are not everything, but we are that
part of it that knows that it is. I could
see all the energy that this solar system
generates, and it is an incredible light
show! I could hear the
Music of the Spheres.
Our solar system, as do all celestial bodies,
generates a unique matrix of light, sound
and vibratory energies. Advanced civilizations
from other star systems can spot life as
we know it in the universe by the vibratory
or energy matrix imprint." (Mellen-Thomas
Benedict)
"I knew the Lights were connected to the
individual people, although more of them,
than with them, almost as if they were an
extension of their existence - a light connection
to an aspect of their Higher Self. The Lights,
a connection to the humans, which were glinting
off the beings were so bright and expansive,
they interconnected, forming a sort of light
grid. I remembered accounts in books on
the near-death experience of people seeing
grids on the other side that they didn't
know how to explain. As I looked at
the network of light before me and felt
the immense outpouring of love coming from
the beings, I realized the connection of
human beings to the Beings of Light was
through love and that the love itself
was connected through this grid." (Linda
Stewart)
"Seeing the Pattern, I knew I was looking
at life itself. It was light; it was time
and space. It was the energy of all matter,
the heart of all that mattered. It was the
very essence of all being. It emanated from
Source, illuminated to my mind by the
Source behind the sun as it moved in perfect
harmony with all the universe. In simplest
terms the Pattern is knotted light, a matrix
that connects two structures ... The Pattern
is quite literally the language between
these two very different structures. It
comes into being as the light from the 48 vertex
of the inner sphere, are emitted, bouncing
and caught under the twelve umbrella points
of the external structure. As long as the
light is a point with a joint, it continues
around the larger sphere until it reconnects
with Itself, thus forming a continuum, the
Pattern." (Lynnclaire
Dennis)

"Extended from above throughout the heaven
and the earth, a straight light like a pillar,
most nearly resembling the rainbow, but
brighter and purer ... and they saw there
at the middle of the light the extremities of
its fastenings stretched from heaven, for
this light was the girdle of the heavens
like the undergirders of triremes, holding
together in like manner the entire revolving
vault." (Plato's
Er)
"Suddenly I saw a streak of light come and
it was absorbed into the earth. I thought,
'A shooting star!' No, it was impressed
on me, it was not a shooting star, but it
was a stream of power coming to the
earth
from the celestial bodies. These streams
of power were coming down from all angles
to the earth. There were also streams that
were going between star and star and star
like a tremendous web. These streams of
power had a set pattern like a web
of a fishing net, which was all continuous
with the power of lights pulsating backward
and forward. (Margaret
Tweddell)

7. Biblical
support For astrology |
|
The Bible mentions that God uses the heavenly
bodies to show humans the signs of his intentions.
These signs can be read by anyone who knows
how to interpret them. Astrology is about
interpreting these signs in the motions
of the sun, moon, planets, and stars. This
section reveals Biblical support for astrology.
A more in-depth article on this subject can
be found here:
Astrology and the NDE.

"And
God said, 'Let there be lights
in the expanse of the sky to
separate the day from the night,
and let them serve as SIGNS
to mark seasons and days and
years, and let them be lights
in the expanse of the sky to
give light on the earth.' And
it was so." (Genesis
1:14-15)
|
|
|
Jesus used astrology to reveal the signs
in the sky of his coming.
|
|
"And
there shall be SIGNS in the
sun, and in the moon, and in
the stars; and upon the
earth
distress of nations, with perplexity;
the sea and the waves roaring;
Men's hearts failing them for
fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming
on the earth: for the powers
of heaven shall be shaken. And
then shall they see the Son
of man coming in a cloud with
power and great glory." (Luke
21:25-27)
|
|
|
God used astrology to answer Job about questioning
his omnipotence.
|
|
"Can
you bring forth the Mazzaroth
(the zodiac) in their seasons
or lead out the Bear with its
cubs [an astrological constellation]?"
(Job
38:32)
|
|
|
Astrology refers to every 2160 years as
a new age which is a different sign of the
zodiac that comes into position to influence
the earth. The Bible describes events that
will occur according to the signs of the
astrological ages. Many people would be
surprised to learn that the term and concept
of a new age originated with the Bible.
|
|
a. |
"What
will be the sign of your coming
and of the end of the AGE?"
(Matthew
24:3) |
b. |
"These
things happened to them as examples
and were written down as warnings
for us, on whom the fulfillment
of the AGES has come." (1
Corinthians 10:11) |
c. |
"[Christ
was raised] far above all rule
and authority, power and dominion,
and every title that can be
given, not only in the present
AGE but also in the one to come."
(Ephesians
1:21) |
d. |
"Anyone
who speaks against the Holy
Spirit will not be forgiven,
either in this AGE or in the
AGE to come." (Matthew
12:32) |
e. |
"And
surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the AGE."
(Matthew
28:20) |
f. |
"Just
and true are your ways, King
of the AGES." (Revelation
15:3) |
|
|
Here is an excellent Bible passage that
uncannily describes the astrological influences
on humanity:
|
|
"There is a time for everything, |
and
a season for every activity
under heaven: |
a time to be born and a time
to die, |
a time to plant and a time to
uproot, |
a time to kill and a time to
heal, |
a time to tear down and a time
to build, |
a time to weep and a time to
laugh, |
a time to mourn and a time to
dance, |
a time to scatter stones and
a time to gather them, |
a time to embrace and a time
to refrain, |
a time to search and a time
to give up, |
a time to keep and a time to
throw away, |
a time to tear and a time to
mend, |
a time to be silent and a time
to speak, |
a time to love and a time to
hate, |
a time for war and a
time for peace." (Ecclesiastes
3:1-8) |
|
|

According to
Flavius Josephus (A.D. 37 - 95), the
famed Jewish historian, the Jewish temple
at Jerusalem had the twelve signs of the
zodiac inlaid in its floor. Josephus also
stated that the twelve loaves of showbread
in the temple was a reference to the zodiac.
In modern times, Israel issued stamps with
the zodiac signs identified with the twelve
tribes of Israel and the astrological symbolism
of the temple. Also, according to Josephus,
a kind of miraculous quality was presumed
to be found in the stones of the breastplate
worn by the high priest of the temple. In
this breastplate were twelve stones, representing
the twelve signs of the zodiac, and arranged
in four rows to represent the four seasons.
